A while ago I bought a few gold Ibanez nos parts. One of the parts is a Gibraltar I bridge. This one is not in every detail a copie of the parts made by Ibanez in the period 1978-1982. One example: the gold is complete different and will not look nice with the other hardware on your 1979 artist, musician or artwood twin. They are original Ibanez parts but first made in the 1990's for reissue models like the bob weir 2681. Does anybody have the same experience? Please give me your comments on this issue. Was Ibanez not able to produce exactly the same parts as on the Vintage ones??? |
