These were really great, but heavy guitars back in the 70's. What do you guys think about the new SGB1000 & 2000 models coming out from Yamaha? http://namm.harmony-central.com/WNAMM07/Content/Yamaha/PR/SBG2000-SBG1000.html I hope it motivates Hoshino to come out with a winner for its next anniversary model...(AR5000 with Tree of life Vines maybe?) Otherwise, I just might get seduced by an all black, neck through, coil-tapped SGB2000. |

Well, I bought an old translucent red Yamaha SG400 7 years ago. It's a set neck and someone replaced one pot by a coil-tap mini-toggle. They are really good. I'm still looking for a wiring diagram for a setup with two push-pull pots and two tone pots. Ginger |
