I was flipping through the TV channels when I came across WLIW, the PBS station from Long Island showing a 1980 Van Morrison show from the Montreux Jazz Festival. There he was playing a beautiful George Benson model! I guess it was one that Weir didn't steal! mk |

I saw that last night too MK. It was a pretty decent thing to see. That last song may have been a bit long in the tooth but they managed to wrap it up nicely anyway. I like VM, always have. He lost his voice for a while though and I think he owns a guitar made from a plank of wood off of Muddy Waters home/birthplace. He loves Muddy, that's his idol. |

I didn't watch until the end...much too late for me. I though his voice was somewhat weak and unfortunately, his guitar playing technique (or lack thereof), doesn't show off the Benson's true colors. mk |
