I am going to purchase an Eastman ar910ce in sunburst. I wanted to see if any of you guys owned one.

I have played and examined a few of their guitars and they seem to have UNREAL tone and superior craftmanship.

Let me know your opinions....

Hey,

I believe Eastman makes a fine archtop guitar for the money. I have played a veiw at the NAMM show and I am impressed with the overall quality and sound.

A good friend of RONALD MULDREW who just passed on put down his beloved 1972 blond Gibson L5CES for an Eastman with one floating Johnny Smith style pickup. Ron's Eastman had a warm natural acoustic sound while going through his early 1970's Fender Super Reverb amp.

I really like the Eastman JOHN PISANO model.

All the best.

I've tried the AR805, AR810, AR905, AR910 and John Pisano... I liked more the AR905...

I also liked the Pisano a lot, but I think it's not as resonant as the AR905... so, it's more like an electric.. I mean, it's more electric than acoustic... probably more feedback resistent...the sound kind of lacks depth (hard to explain.. it's very good but doesn't go out) a very nice looking instrument... very good neck...very confortable...

The AR905 is more acoustic...

With Eastman you have to try one by one (more than one of the same model).. I mean, they don't have a very good quality control. So, one will be great and another have dead spots, etc.
It seems the AR910 is more popular.. I see a lot of people playing it (I mean, over the internet)...
Anyway, I'm courious about what the others have to say.
