If you've ever wanted a bunch of Bob Weirs and a Scruggs, check out this auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1474175265 The group pictures alone, are worth the trip. |

How about that tailpiece on the Scruggs 2671?! |

Eyre: What about it? There is a picture of a '77 Scruggs in Michael Wright's book on page 148. It's set up with the same bridge and tailpiece. Personally, I like the look of the fancy tailpiece and thinner bridge better. But I'd NEVER turn down any Scruggs. |

JohnS, That IS a pretty collection he's selling. Do you have any thoughts as to how many 2671's were manufactured altogether? Thanks |

Eyre: Sorry, I don't have any firm info on how many Scruggs made it out of the factory. If you wanted me to guess, I'd say that no more than a few hundred were made between '75 and '78 ('79?). For the sake of value, I'd like to think the total is lower. Hopefully, Michael Wright's new Ibanez book will shed some more light on the subject. |
