The price is right and I was tempted the first time it came up for auction too. Time to be sweet to the sweethearts right now.. However, it is a subject of interest. I would not object to an "Other Brands" section, but would prefer they remain in the "Miscellaneous" section for now. I don't think sifting through traffic is a problem, it's usually a non-issue based on the subject header; for example, I'm not into Roadstars so most of the time I don't read the Roadstar-related posts (of course, no offense to Steve intended, as I've found his info to be detailed and well thought out). My vote would be that any action(s) that increase participation should be encouraged. This site is one of the few that hasn't degraded into idiocy at one point or another (like old day flame wars, spamming, etc.) so guard it well. But I appreciate the interest other folks have. I tend to read damned near everything on this site. It's nice not to have a pile of trash (flame wars etc..) to sift through. Speaking of sifting, it would be nice if there was an Archive section. Perhaps everything older than six months or 1 year could moved there? Especially the Classifieds. Just food for thought. In my gut, I don't like to have conversation threads dismembered just for the sake of an arbitrary time limit. Seeing how a conversation developes and morphs and what else it produces is intriguing. But my POV is different. Even though I resist, I know that reality says you gotta put your old stuff in the attic sometime. As long as I can find a way to make sure the Keyword Search facility will still be effective on the archived material, I'll be happy. Fred: I think you described the "Law of Atrophy" style of site management, rather than the "Survival of the Fittest" style that Darwin would espouse.
