Hi guys, was browsing a 'vintage dealer's' showroom today and was dumbstruck by the prices I saw on a couple of Ibanez guitars. An AS100 in cherry for $1,200 US and a 2370 in cherry with gold hardware and vibrato for $1,600 US. I nearly died. So tell me, am I right to be shocked, or are these prices typical these days? The 2370 was a nice guitar, but not outstanding. Cheers, Mark |

This is a real eye opener. The only other Ibanez I have read that went for more than that was an Artwood Twin - at US$3,600.00. I wonder what is the most expensive Ibanez guitar ever sold - anyone? I think they will have to be vintage models. Vic |

"Chrome Boy" Satrianis and DNA JEMs bring large $$$ also. I suppose if THE 12-string Weir or the "Birds of Paradise" AR5000 ever came up for sale, you'd see serious change swapping hands. Cheers Steve |
