I have a nice 1981 LP copy. It was purchased by the original owner in Germany. Does anyone have any information on this brand? |

Arirang is a popular Korean tune. The guitar brand is Korean too, according to the Blue Book. https://store.bluebookinc.com/download/Category.as px?product=ELECTRIC&id=42 I once tried a second hand short scale neck through body guitar by Arirang in Weert, in the South of the Netherlands. It was quite cheap 225 guilders (100 euros) about 10 years ago. I thought it had something to do with Aria, but never found proof of that. On the contrary. All I found was pointing towards Korea. I wish I had made a picture of the typography of the decal back then. As I remember it, there were some matches with the Aria logo, but then... that could be a commercial trick, just like Vester using the Fender typography for its logo. Neck throughs always keep intrigueing me. Ginger |
