Ebay Item #200157244852

Made at Fujigen. Probably a duplicate for the Ibanez Korina V in terms of parts. Too bad it says Greco instead of Ibanez. And too bad the guy is asking $1099 for it. He's dropped the price by $200 from the last time he offered it, but my hope is that he gets it down to something reasonable, like $700, and I just might go for it.

Very pretty - but it doesn't look like there's too much left there that's original. Seller reckons pickups & tuners have been changed, I'd also say the bridge, knobs, screws, possibly the pickguard too.

Jon.

You could argue that "Greco" is more similar than "Ibanez" to Gibson in the way it looks on the headstock!

Guitars are exactly the same for this model.

What tends to attract me to the guitar (much like bower birds are attracted to shiny objects) is the Korina-color wood. Small details such as the bridge and tuners fade as I become mesmerized by the grain. If this were hanging on my wall, I would look at it lovingly, and believe I had redeemed myself for trading in my Ibby V back in 1979.

These are fairly convincing replicas.

The headstock is nice and pointy, unlike some of even the later Gibson version which have a blunted headstock.

In my opinion, great tone, and worth a shot.
