D'Agostino Flying V

Author Message   Roland_g303 Username: Roland_g303 Registered: 5-2007 Posted on Friday, November 02, 2007 - 9:45 pm:    Hi everyone, I've had from what I've told a mid 80's D'Agostino Flying V. The guitar is all original except for the tuners (still have the originals) which have been changed to Grovers. Anyways, I'm trying to find out more information on this guitar as there seems to be absolutely nothing on the net for this guitar. It's a killer V with very high output. I don't use the active electronics as they are just too hot. Here's some pics and any info would be much appreciated. There are some pictures of very similar Corts in these threads on the Cort owners' forum: http://www.cortguitarsusa.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php ?t=1462 http://www.cortguitarsusa.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php ?t=1541 If you have a poke around the forum, you'll find other old Corts with the same style headstock, brass inlays etc from the same era. These guitars seem to have been sold with a variety of different brands, including Targa, Austin & Kay, also a lot of these turn up unbranded in the UK. I'm currently cleaning & restoring a through-neck Cort-built bass from the same era - it's a beautiful & well-made instrument. I got it for a cheap price and it even came with the original neon green interior case. The pickups are extremely hot, but it's not a super muddy pickup.
