This is an '81 Washburn that a guy is willing to sell me for $500. Was wanting to get some opinions from you guys on it. Made in Japan. Never seen a string-thru body like this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item =260105728539&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80 %2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26satitle%3D26 0105728539%26category0%3D%26fvi%3D1 |

Hi - try asking on the Washburn forum at www. matsumoku.org - early 80s Japanese Washburns were built by Matsumoku. Nice looking guitar - the headstock & bridge look very similar to those on Wing-series Washburns, some of which featured string-through bridges. Matsumoku.org also has a big archive of catalogue scans, including MIJ Washburns - you might be able to id this guitar there. Jon. |

Jon, i checked out that link. Very cool info there. I've decided against the guitar. It's just a tiny thing, but I can't get past the headstock. It's, well, too goofy for me. |
