If your a fan of the 2629/30 you have to check this out. This model is one of the best Electra ever produced and is equal in build quality to the 1976-1979 2629/30 but with a nice vine inlay Ebay Item #330110618456 |

This example is one of the early ones with the open book headstock. I own plenty of these guitars and I believe that this brand is the "next Ibanez" in terms of the Vintage Japanese guitar collector. If you enjoy vintage Ibanez and they have become too expensive (a 2630 runs over $1200 now) this may be an option for you (this guitar will sell in the $750-$800 range) Get on these now before they also get out of reach, its not like they are making any more of them ! |

Well thanks Dave G for fueling my next episode of GAS. I am now at my third Electra purchase in a few month. One Tiger Stripe cherry sunburst Set neck Omega. One Tiger Stripe Iced Tea sunburst MPC. One Outlaw MPC Bass. I need to turn my attention now to open-book versions. Killer guitars. |

Sharp......That lawsuit Omega is one VERY sweet guitar ! Crank out the "Super Magnaflux" pickups the next time you jam with a Les Paul and watch the jaw drop as the Electra eats the LP for lunch ! |
