I've never seen them.
I know Kustom amps with a K, but this doesn't ring a bell.

I had a nice couple of them. Quite sure they were build alongside Ibanez. Same hardware, models and serialnumbers.

I've got a Custom brand Les Paul Jr/Melody Maker copy, lovely little guitar, plays beautifully & sounds sweet. Can't for the life of me work out who built it, though. It's not like any Ibanez/Fuji Gen I've seen:

custom

Bolt-neck, plain neckplate. Body construction's block/sandwich (not ply) with a mahogany top & back. Very unusual pickups - they're metal covered & painted black, and screw directly onto the front of the guitar, with no adjustment & very shallow routing.

The plain neckplate makes me think Kasuga, also the neck/body join is executed in a very similar way to my Kasuga Rick 4001 copy.

Anyone else seen one of these?

Jon.
