Had to find a way to be the first to post here More seriously: ICW members probably know books that deal with guitar maintenance and reapairs. Could you share the names, authors and publishers here, and if possible with a short review. I have seen them at net shops but have not bought yet because I don't know if they are worth the money. "Guitar Player Repair Guide" & "How to Make Your Electric Guitar Play Great" are both good, both by Dan Erlewine from Stewart-MacDonald Supply house. There's some basic stuff in them but fundamentals are important. I've learned alot about the 'little things' you can do to improve sound and playability. Mike |
