Does anyone have 3 Suregrip 1 knobs (gold with white numbers) they can sell me? Failing that, how about just the rubber grips?

The grips on mine were very battered and sloppy when I bought my SB70 and they're not getting better with age/use; a couple are starting to split.

Maybe somebody knows of another control knob I could cannibalise for grips?

If none of the above, then does anyone know if the Suregrip 11's will fit the pots on an SB70?

I'm not too fussed about original parts... just so long as I can turn them without the grips moving about! :-)

The suregrip 2's will fit. You can get them from any local ibanez dealer that will sell parts for about 4 bucks each, or from the online store. You may be able to make the bands from the sg2's work with a little trimming.

Watch this eBay seller's auctions:

http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZbrotherscolors

He had about twenty suregrip 1's (gold) listed yesterday, but was offering them 4 at a time, and since it was just one auction, he got a lot of confused bidders. So he pulled them down, but he should have them back up in a day or so. Then, bid along with the rest of us to see if you can grab some. The originals go for anywhere between $15 to $25 (or higher) EACH, depending on condition.
