SA series guitars any info?

I have tried to find a pic of this excact guitar and I am having problems finding on does anyone know what model this is? They're targeted at a more modern consumer. They're bright and clear, so they stand up well to heavy distortion and heavy processing, and sound good clean too. It's more of a strat type sound. As freak eluded to, You can still find more classic sounds in the SA Prestige, AR, SZ, JTK models. I personally love the V2 PUs, which come in my SA1260 Prestige. They are warm and classic sounding. But most young entry level players don't want to sound like Thin Lizzy or Alabama, so I think Ibanez is right on with their PU choices. -Sven Ibanezfreak1960 Username: Ibanezfreak1960 Registered: 03-2004 Posted on Friday, September 09, 2005 - 1:25 pm:    I do not like the pups in my 2004 SZ720FM, it sounds horrible. But when I played a 2005 SZ520 with the ibanez/duncan I loved the sound. I really think they goofed on the 2004 SZ but made it better this year. That is why I have new pups going in mine soon. I took nearly 9 months trying many, many makes of guitars in the under $1500 range. It blew them all away for me. I never had an Ibanez before. I thought they were only for metal heads and their jazz boxes are legendary. I now have a SA 160 ash body, as well. I put a Dimarzio Eric Johnson Custom in the lead position as the AH4 was not the best match for the ash body with vintage amps/amp models. I lurv the AH3 and am fond of the AH4 in the guitar. The AH3 sounds fantastic with vintage amps/amp models: Fender, Vox, Roland. The AH4 does very well with higher gain amps/amp models. The 5 way switching is quite well done. The AH3 in parallel (Position2) is very Straty, but without the noise. The middle position is quite Tele-ish. The 4th position is a glassier, but with less quack, version of the Strat 4th position. Great for funk and when using a phase shifter. The SA series is for players that want modern and vintage tones, notably of the Fender type. They are built much better than any guitars in the same price range, notably MIM or MIJ Fender and the PRS SE line. It is quite unfortunate that the line is not given its respect from users of the other Ibanez lines.
