Hi Ibanezkid The first ibanez solid body guitars was built in the Tokyo Sound Factory and branded for Ibanez, Star, Guyatone, Feather and later on Kent. We found the "Ibanez Rhythm* Guitar & Bass Productions. Start from 1957 to 1962. The 1880/1860/1840 Series was sold only 2 or 3 years. The Kent Brand was prodced the same time as the ibanez brand. The Necks, Fretboards, Tremolo Units, Bridges and Pots look like the same, are the same. Only the shapes of the bodys are diffrent to the ibz brand. Have fun :-) Hasy |

Ibanezkid: I'm glasd that Hasy could get you the info you needed on the Kent brand. Please take it easy on the clipart. It eats up lots more memory and bandwidth than text does. If you want to share pictures of your guitars that's different. We all enjy seeing new toys. Thanks, JohnS SysOp
