Nice find! But not entirely original... "All the switches and control knobs are original and work fine!" ??? These knobs are Ibanez all right, but about 15 years younger than the guitar. Sure Grip knobs hadn't been developed yet in the 60s. If you look at some 992 and 993 threads, you see aged white with aluminium knobs. Ebay Item #230177997483 I wonder if one can still find such knobs. Selling the Sure Grips or keeping them for restorations won't be a problem. Ginger |
