I bought an AF105F-NT (single floating pickup), and it's a great guitar. I've dutifully read through the big, honkin' serial number thread, and have come to the conclusion that every factory does serial numbers however they want to. Looking at my serial number - S05091487 (printed on an oval label under the upper f-hole) - the thread indicates my guitar was made September 2005 in Sejan, Korea. The only problem is that the label clearly states the guitar was made in China. Any suggestions? |

JDM,your Artcore Custom was built in the Saehan factory in China in Sept.2005 The Sejung factory has the letter J at the start of the serial number. No Artcore models are being built in Korea, they are all from China. Congrats on getting your Artcore, great guitars ! Captain Ibanez |
