Any idea how good/valuable a 1984 Ibanez X-series DT350 is? |

Reaction, if you are considering wasting your money on the DT350...or should I say once was a DT350 on Ebay at present..then 150 bucks would stop it dead in the water...what a dunnybrush ( something you clean your toilet with) of a guitar...only original bit is the body. A mint condition DT350 would change hands for around $1,200.00 Aussie Save your money, there was a near mint condition DT380 Rising Sun Finish (Japanese flag) last week on Ebay and the highest bid I saw for that was I think 550 US. I'll let you be the judge Captain Ibanez |

I currently own a 1984 DT350 which I recieved for free some years back. It has all original parts on it. It has a few scratches on it from years of use without a case. Candy apple red high gloss finish, and it plays wonderfully. Has very low action with minimal buzz. I personally love my guitar, just was wondering if what I have is worth restoring and saving for generations to come in my family. If you have any comments or suggestions feel free to jot them down and post them. Thanks! |

FIRSTLY, LET ME SAY , SPRIO, YA MALAKA !. The "dunnybrush " I was refering to is not Reaction's own personal DT350, it was the piece of crap thatwas on Ebay last week and I thought that Reaction was going to shelve out hard earned money for that guitar on Ebay. Do I make my self clearer now ? Reaction, at this point in time I guess it worth restoring your guitar to its original glory. Ya O'l Cappy feels that the DT & X Series guitars are a sleeping giant in the collecting world these days.It only takes a new generation to discover 80's Metal again and these series of guitars will be up there with the "must have" sector of guitar shredder's...but only time will tell. Just remember, if you do get it re-finished and they do the headstock ,the Ibanez logo is screen printed onto the headstock, so don't let anyone sand it off, cause there aren't any replacements for that.
