Hi guys, wondering if any of you experts out there have any more information on the Korean made AM-50. Apart from Funkle's post in 2002, I am not having any luck finding anything about it anywhere on the web so far. My husband loves this guitar (unfortunately hates computers so he can't rave to you himself). He says it has a really warm, jazz/blues sound, but hasn't played one of the Japanese models so can't say how it compares. Also, what would one of these usually go for in price? |

I'd like to know more about this model too. My suspicion is that it was only available outside of the US, as I have not seen it in any of the price lists, and most of the auctions have been in the UK. -Sven

Hi Cappy, I'm afraid the serial number has gone, but it was a 1980's model with a glued neck. cheers Sam |

Here's one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33043&item=7333822886&rd= 1 It would be interesting to compare one of these to an AM73. -Sven |
