So ya'll out there your Ol Cappy, has been under the extreme being busy far to much latley with doing what he does downunder for our beloved Ibanez , but I'm back to sought the indifferences for you all. Now , latley I have had many questions from here and the Ibanez Vintage page about ..what lies ahead for you Ibanezer's, so my question is..apart from Phil Collen model Destroyers or bolt on neck Roadsters...hehe..sought out your catalogues and collective juices, lay ya cards on the table...lets collectively set the pace for the new generation of collectors.

I await your thoughts ...I will supply the scans

Hello Cappy~

My favorites from the 80's have to include the GB10 but especially the rare GB12 flamer!

Of course as a funkin'-jazzer, I've got to include the AS200 to my list. There was even a non-imported blonde, flamed out AS200 that made my knees weak. Now THAT would be top of my personal favorite list...and yes, I'd buy one today if Ibanez made it.

My favorite is the S series. It is a truly unique design that looks beautiful to this day, and will for many more to come. Classic and innovative at the same time, it combined the best features of the others and jettisoned the worst features. It was the first Ibanez that tuned my head, and the first Ibanez I owned.

Then of course there is the AM series, another one of my faves if you hadn't noticed. The underdog that never quite caught on.

AM's, the thin-line LE's and Lonestars.

My clear favorite is my two 1981 AR1200's, great tone, playability, build quality, nothing else quite like 'em...

DestroyerII, Rocket II rolles etc... Sorry I'm a metal head so the "pointy" guitars get the heads up. Besides the quality was excellent...

1985 Roadstar II with the Pro Rock'r trem (RS430). My favorite guitar period! Just picked up my 12th one. Sounds great, nice thin but straight neck and refuses to go out of tune. I dumped all my Fenders and Gibsons because I never played 'em.

AR305AV: I waited 20 years to get my hands on one of these, and I was not disappointed. It's heavy, but it's just beautiful. Other than a deep scratch on the top (since repaired and all but invisible) it was in very good condition for a gutar of its age. Barely any buckle rash on it and very little fret-wear.

AM205AV: Yes I'd really like to own one. I really don't know if I'd part with my AR305 for one of these, although I'm quite sure Mrs BluesMeister could help me with that decision! :-)
