Was at a coffee-shop performance the other night and saw a guitarist who had what looked like a computer laptop screen on a stand. It held all his tabs and lyrics. Anybody know what this is? Looked very cool. |

Can't help you with this one Jackotter..sorry. I use my laptop for running slide shows of all my catalogue scans when I'm doing clinics. Which I might add is very well received by Ibanez fans. Captain Ibanez |

Jack, I would suspect its a laptop. I always tell people a good product idea would be monitor music stands with a foot switch for a full orchestra or a small Jazz combo instead of page turning. The downside would be no way to pencil changes in. |

Could very well be this model. http://www.motioncomputing.com/products/tablet_pc.asp I've had the pleasure to work with those units... they're no longer first gen, so I was pleasantly surprised with the speed and compatibility. I'm interested to hear what application he was using for the tab and lyrics. I've used PowerTab in the past, but it seems to crash quite frequently on my computers. |
