Artist AR?????

Author Message Harvee Username: Harvee Registered: 11-2005 Posted on Wednesday, November 23, 2005 - 9:44 pm:    Can someone tell me how to be able to identify the differences between guitars in the Artist AR series please? Is it in fact a simple task? I thought the 70-80's Artists were AR100, AR200, AR300. The AR300 being the top of the range. To make things more complex, there are models with preamps in them, different pickup switches on the body and ones that seem to use a push/pull switch on the volume or tone control for out of phase or different pickup selection. Just click on the Resources section and then when that opens up you will see the catalogue library. Then you can spend some good quality time bring yourself up to scratch with all the info you are looking for. They appear to be the nice-looking MIJ reissues talked about recently. Some even have Super 80 pickups. mk
