I have a ‘77 2630, ‘78 AS200, and a ’83 AM205. Many questions on pickups and switches.
The ’78 AS200 does not have the flying finger covers as I have seen in photos, but the traditional clean humbucker covers. The neck pickup ohms at 8.06 with the tritone switch up or down. It ohms at 4.03 with the tritone set in the middle. The bridge ohms at 7.99 with the tritone switch up, down, or in the middle. I assume the pickups are not the super 80's, but the super 70's. Is this right? I have super 80’s on an EQ and they sound really HOT (lots of attack and very sensitive). This AS200 sounds warm and full. Is the tritone working correctly?
There are no covers on the ’77 2630 black pickups. They look original, but I don’t know how to tell. The neck ohms at 7.02 with toggle switch up or down. The bridge ohms at 15.48 with toggle switch down and nothing with toggle switch up. Is this right?
Also, I believe my volume and tone knobs for each pickup are reversed. The lower ones control the neck pickup. Is this right?
