Hey Captain, Been casting around for an answer to this one. I'm planning to try a set of SD Phat Cats (single coil, P90 type) in my '81 AS-50. My current volume and tone pots seem fine. When I install the P90s, will I necessarily need to change the pots for impedance matching or any other reason? Thanks, John |

John, I checked the specs and if the pots are 500k, then there should not be a problem, just check also that the capacitor on the tone pot is 0.022uF rating then all should be well. Captain Ibanez |
