Let's start things off by giving the Captain a big ICW Welcome! I'd also like to invite the Captain to explain in his own words, the "mission" for this new section of the Discussion Board. You have the floor, Captain Ibanez... |

Greetings fellow Ibaneezer's. Welcome to where you are now all able to access the amazing archives of Captain Ibanez live on ICW. The mission for me is to help everyone who having a hard time finding out the correct info on Ibanez products. You know have the advantage of accessing info on our beloved instruments from 1970 to today.Catalogue scans, build quantities, construction info, wiring diagrams, spare parts....this goes on and on. Also with this topic area, I want to throw ideas at you , explore the forgotten collectables, comparisons of what's available today to replace old for new in spare parts etc, etc, there a whole galaxy full of stuff to explore and share. I would like to make this statement upfront before we get underway. "Under no circumstances will I giving out information regarding unreleased Ibanez product, commenting on heresay regarding unreleased Ibanez product, or anything else that I personally feel that may be detrimental to my position here at Australis Music, or that will interfear with my very strong working relationship that I have with Ibanez Japan. I personally have been associated with Ibanez products here in Australia since 1974, so don't even go there!" Well, thanks for understanding the displine, but that had to be stated. My thanks to Johns for the opportunity to entertain the troops. Let's get going...stay tuned.. Captain Ibanez |

So, about theis Ashton AP-1000 I have... :D Only joking! A pity you don't make them any more though, I just wish I'd bought the AP-2000 the store had while I had the chance. Great "make the gig, don't care if it gets beer (or worse) thrown over it" guitars. - Steve (Malaysia) |
