I need some help urgently on an Ibanez GB10 guitar I bought the guitar in a shop in England - it is second hand and was described as a natural colour GB10 made in 1998 (with case) - it cost around £1000 I bought the guitar and now I have done some more research - I checked the serial number on the headstock - it is H700258. I have looked the serial number up on the internet and according to some information, this means the guitar was built in August 1970 and is number 258. Is this right???? It can't be!!!! GB10's weren't made until 1977????? The serail number on the guitar matches the serial number in the body and the sticker in the body says Japan? I do not understand, but I am worried I have wasted money. Does the 'H' in the serial number stand for a factory in Japan??? Is it as good quality as a guitar made in the fugijen factory with 'F'?, and is there any way I can make sure the date is right? I am upset and don't know what to do. Please Please can you help Best regards Dan |
