Calvin: An AM50 would not be considered a "lawsuit" model guitar. The term lawsuit refers to a guitar that is a replica of another brand and has the same headstock shape as that original guitar. The AM50 is considered an original Ibanez design. TO learn more about your guitar, do a Keyword Search on "AM50" and "AM-50" and you'll find nearly 200 messages that refer to these guitars. As far as value, this was written by a forum member back in November of 2002: "Considering that the average price for the AM50 has gone from about $400 to $600 in the last 2 years..." Here's a summary of ebay sales for the AM50, up to April 2004, to back that up:
Avg Cond | # of Sales | Hi | Low | Nov '03 Avg | April '04 Avg | 8 | 14 | 698 | 350 | 560 | 582 |
