Howdy, I have the opportunity to purchase a Concord that the seller says is a 775. I can't find any info on it anywhere. I'm hoping someone can tell me what it is, and whether it seems stock, based on the picture the seller sent me. Thanks! http://www.verkstad.com/755.bmp |

In the interest of helping others to see the pictures, I've converted it and uploaded it here. So far, I haven't been able to find a reference to a model 755 in the usual literature. But is an Ibanez, it is from the lawsuit era (somewhere in the early to mid 70s). The solid MOP fretmarkers were used on some models, the pickguard is the right shape, but I've never seen one without some floral, bird or insect motif on it. The tuners look like Ibanez, but from the late 70s. Too me, they are suspect. See if you can get a serial number (often on the neck block inside) and a photo of the label from the seller. |

Thanks a bunch for that info. I agree with your assessment. The tuners almost look like the ones that were on the AS200AV models. I'm also dubious about the logo. Should the letters be connected like that, or separate? In any event, what do you figure it should go for? The seller wants $110 for it. |

So it DOES exist. Thanks, Jim! So, can you tell me if the photos look like a stock example, or if anything has been changed? I'm still wondering about the originality of the pickguard and the tuning machines. And, oh yeah - anyone have a ballpark on the worth of this guitar? Thanks |
