Hey gang, heres a question I have for all in ICW.

Now even your Ol Cappy admits when I first layed eyes on this model, I was outraged ! How dare they desecrate the Iceman model in this way.A trem system was my biggest objection...Then, I took the time to get to know this freak of nature a bit better..result...It's now got a soft spot in my heart. From its thunderous HB2 bridge pickup and super green and star spangled finish, this thing "rocks ya rocks off".

Do you guy's think that this model with a production run of around 400 units is one of those underated models in the Iceman range and worthy of being a "collectable classic" ?

Now the last time one was up for grabs here, and it was the very last one we had instock it went for $2495.00 aussie and I beleive it went overseas when the aussie dollar was worth 50c US.

This guitar was one of the nicest players I have ever used.Should have bought one at the time !

I await your opinions

Here's a pic for those who may not know this model.

Cappy:

You asked for my opinion...I find the paint job more distracting than the trem. A production run of 3 or 4 should cover the demand for this one. :-)

LMAO @ Johns !!! Good one, Boss.

Cap'n, don't blame the J model for the tremolo! When the Iceman and PS models returned from hiatus in '95, the IC350 had an Edge trem. This was a year before the J model and it's um, er, exotic paintjob.

As for collectability, I dunno if White Zombie's fame is broad enough to generate the interest needed for collectors to value the J model.

Hmm yes I did forget about the IC350..silly me, but a Lo-TRS trem....blaaaahh..yucky thing!

AS FOR YOU...MR REFRESHED, I'M JUST BACK OF VACATION.....hehe shame on you 14 of these went to good homes "downunder". However I do agree with the limited market theory in some ways...but still, it's different and it's over the top..it rocks. Get out of the natural and Vintage Violin finish woodshed John, there's more to life than ala Natural hehe.

Its really hard to guess. But look at something like the Scruggs models. They're collectable even though Randy Scruggs isn't exactly a household name.

I really think you need to see that guitar in real life to understand the beauty of it..

Its a metallic green with metallic white stars.. Has all the PS10 appointments such as the mop/ab/mop inlays and the abalone binding..

There is a star behind every tuning peg, and all stars match up with the controls..

I wish I had bought one as well.

It is a beautiful guitar!!

For what its worth, I think this guitar is interesting looking. It conjures up memories of the good ol' days when my hair was longer and my belt was shorter.

From what I've seen, they bring pretty serious $$$ for such a recent model. I'd love to have one. It's beautiful in its own way.

Will any Iceman case fit this ICJ100WZGG White Zombie, or is the neck scale and body size different from the others?

Thanks-- Scott
