Hi everyone, Im new to the forum so you will have to bare with me. I just recently bought an old Ibanez RG517 (apparently made just before they were renamed to RG570) and I got it off of ebay. The guy said he had put a new mint wizard on it, but he wasn't sure if it was a wizard 1 or 2. I had really hoped for an actual wizard "made in japan" neck, since its what he had stated on the website. I have the number from the back of the headstock and I was wondering if any of you knew how I could find out if its an actual wizard neck and not the cheaper wizard 2. Heres the number: "F0227586" I had read that if it has the "F" in the front it means its made in japan, but im still not certain if its an original wizard, since it doesnt have the stripe on the back of it. Is there a website that shows the serial numbers for the neck? Or have any of you ever seen this particular number? Please give me any help you may have, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks very much, and nice meeting you all. |
