Jim

I have a '73 Les Paul copy, set neck, red sunburst, star-backed tuners, chrome hardware, comfort-scoop on the back of the body. No S/N, no identifying stickers. This is model #2386 according the to 1973 catalogue I sourced on this site.

I was wondering if the original pickups - open zebra-striped humbuckers - are in fact Super 70s? They do NOT have anything stamped on the back, only the number '14802' stencilled in paint sprayed on the bottom of the casing. The neck sounds beautiful, but the bridge sounds weedy.

Grateful for any help.

Craig
