I have a '79 Artist with original flying fingers p/u's and active circuit with printed circuit board. Well something has gone wrong with the circuit board and I get no sound when I flip the switch to active mode. I've checked the switch and it is okay. Yes, I tried new battery(ies). Anybody know where I can get another circuit board? Or better yet is there a way of getting rid of the active circuit and wiring the p/u's the traditional way (i.e., without the active circuit)... and rewiring the active-only tone controls so that they function without the printed circuit board? Thx! |

"Or better yet is there a way of getting rid of the active circuit and wiring the p/u's the traditional way (i.e., without the active circuit)... and rewiring the active-only tone controls so that they function without the printed circuit board" What do you want the three "tone controls" to do? BTW - Sounds like you have an Artist 2622EQ...so if you want standard tone controls for that model, you'd have to buy a 2619 ; |
