On my ST prototype the Pups are Ibanez classic 59. Was this a new pick up or were they used on other models before? |

I have a record of every pickup and the specs on them, the Classic 59 does not show up anywhere in any of my spec books. Does it have Ibanez Classic 59 stamped on the bottom of it? If so post me a photo, I have very good connections with some of the old designers in Japan, Jim Donahue |

yes that is stamped on the bottom but I need to open it up first then I will post it. Cameron says they are the same as the 58's very similar windings but I just wanted your opinion on the subject. I will try to have them up tommorow. |

I am afraid my memory is not so good. The pups in my guitar are stamped Ibanez Super 58's. Now I have to figure out where the classic 59 I saw were installed. I had a Hawaiin Koa topped destoyer 2 a while back before I bought this one. But I don't remember what was in that probably 58's. Well sorry about the mistake |
