Michael: It depends on what year your BW is. You got a serial number to help date it? |

Hi Michael, At an outside chance, it's possible that your guitar was fitted with the harmonic-o-matic 323G bridge that is kind of Gibson ABR-1 shaped but with a more solid adjustment. These bridges were installed on most Ibanez Gibson style copies too during the 70's. However, I would say 2 to 1 that your 2680 was fitted with an Harmonic-O-Matic 198G bridge. This one looks a lot like the bridge that Gibson were putting on their guitars in the mid 70's. A good example of this is the SG range from hat period. So this bridge is wider and flatter looking. There are plenty of pics on this site showing the two different types. These can be difficult to locate. The Captain or Orval may be able to help. BTW, the "G" denotes 'gold'. six |
