hi all, I have a really nice looking SDGR bass but i cant find the model number. Its a 4-string with 4 pots and the pickup configuration is same as a P-bass. The serial number is F0001139. Thanks. |

Hotnepz: You just described a few different basses. The only thing the serial number does is narrow down the year that it was manufactured. After that, we all have to check catalogs to see which matches your's. However, without a picture, we can't do much for you. So, you'll have to do that yourself. Here's the URLs of a site that has lots of Ibanez catalogs on line: http://www.ibanezrules.com/catalogs/index.htm The F in your serial number indicates that it was made in Japan. The 00 after the F could mean 1990 or 2000. Check out the basses from '89-'91 and '99-'01, as your's might be a model that straddled catalog years. Also, if your guitar was not imported into the US, then these catalogs may not show it, at all. |
