I'm looking to buy a BTB bass which is described as a BTB 850 SPW bass at this link: http://www.musik-service.de/IbanezBTB850_SPW-prx395727289de.aspx However, I can't find any info on this bass, not at Ibanez, nothing in the catalog scans at Ibanezrules.com and nothing on the web. Does anyone know this model? Or does anyone recognize it as another model (BTB 700 maybe ) thanks for your help! Age |

10pizza, Looks like another Ibanez limited edition BTB model. Very limited and possibly made in Japan! I ran into the same problem trying to get information about my BTB600EH. (Made in Japan with Bartolini p'ups and active EQ.) The BTB 850 may have been replaced by a Korean built model as you suggest, but here is a site that wrote reviews on most Ibanez basses up to 700, then jumps over to 900 and up to the fancier 1000 Prestige series. Good luck! http://www.musicgearreview.com/music-reviews.php3?Manufacturer=Ibanez&Category=B ass_Guitars |

Guitartim, thanks for the info. Tomorrow I'll be testing one out in a store where I've found one. I'll let you know the outcome and maybe post some pics 10pizza |
