All hail to the defenders of the Ibanez Faith!
I'm new to this forum and appreciate your taking the time to read this newbie's first post.
I just purchased an Ibanez Roadster Bass (not RoadSTAR) from eBay and am waiting for it come in.

There wasn't much in the auction about the Roadster specifications, so I've been haunting the net for the last two days reading everything I could get my mouse on. So far, this forum has been the most informative for me, but there's more I want to know about this bass.
I have done many searches on this bass, both on and off this forum.
What I have learned so far is that it was made in 1979 in Japan and the model number is RS900. The color is TV (true violin), and it's ash wood. And that was about it...
Here's what I still want to know:
1. What was the origional electronics on this when it was first issued? (It seems this was active and made passive, but I can't be sure.)
2. How many were made? The headstock seems to be really odd - not like others produced during that time.
3. Does anyone else who posts here still own one? What are your thoughts on it? (I did check out harmony-central.com about the reviews and found it was well thought of overall.)
4. A sticker on the back of the headstock reads "13653" (It could also be "13658" - the last digit is hard to make out in the photos.) What does this mean? Is there any way to decipher the sticker?
5. Anyone have a users manual or hang tags from one of these that I could see? (I know this is a long shot, but this seems like the best forum for this...)
