Tim,

It looks like they are all over Europe and AU, but I don't see any in the states. Maybe a special order?

Did you pull the trigger on this one?

Yep, the seller had it listed for a BIN $899 and I was tempted to jump on it. Fortunately I waited until one day shy of the auction close, and noticed the BIN was dropped to $799...with 0 bids!! (Can Ebay sellers do that with an active auction??)

That looks like an amazing custom bass. I've never heard of a model 'BTB5CPD-NTF' before.

Man, I immediately called the seller and closed the deal. The seller is a huge retailer in Idaho and says he has another one (of the twelve made) for sale. (Hello Funkle!)

Sweet! So were you onto this one before I posted it, or did I pervert you into buying it?

Long live bass porn :-)

LOL! I was checking out this beauty since it first was listed. The sudden price drop fueled my GAS to an uncontrollable level.

Now I've got to decide to keep or sell the 4 string BTB-600. We'll see after the BTB5CPD-NTF arrives.

You'll probably find yourself in a situation like I was in when I got my SC1620, suddenly my SC420 was very lonely.

The 4 string and 5 string BTB's are SO different, I'll probably keep them both. If I do decide to sell the 4, I'll post it here first.

By the way, the seller of the 5 string has the remaining BTB5CPD-NTF on Ebay. (same picture though!)

Hey guys, I struck a deal with a friend who is a budding photographer. She will be shooting some interesting, stylized photos of my humble guitar collection. We started with Ibanez since I have more of them than other marques.

Over the next month I'll get the project done, but couldn't wait to share this proof she just sent me.
