Hello. I have this posted in the Replica Section. I'm not sure if this is against forum pratice or not, so I apologize if so. This is a Cimar Bass in Sunburst, no Serial Number or year indicators I can find. I would like to find out the year of manufacture. Please take a look and help out if possible. Thank you. http://www.ibanezcollectors.com/discus/messages/13/14447.html?1139064293#MB

Les, I've been thinking around that time frame. Do you (or anyone) know when did they begin using serial numbers? |

They started using serial numbers in the last half of 1975. |

Hi Hawkster To be precisely: until now there has never popped up a serial number lower than H (august) 75. Maybe nice to throw in that topic again: anybody ever seen a G 75 or even an F 75 number? Harry |

Does this carry over to the Cimar name as well? |
