Picked up a new Ibanez Blazer bass today..walked into a pawn shop and saw this beastly beauty hanging there. I'm mostly a lead guitarist but could not resist this brute to goof around with. It's simple, yet very powerful and well built. Any opinions on it? Those of you who can give me any info you might know about the model, it would be appreciated. Headstock:Ibanez Blazer Bass Series:Custom Made Serial # I822202 Made in Japan.

Pit: It's an '82 BL700NT. Solid ash body, 1 piece maple neck, Hercules B tuners (chrome), brass B 1 bridge/tail, Super P4 pickups and brass control knobs. Looks to be in great shape, too! |

Thank you for the info,..just what I was looking for. It is in good shape. Has some finish wear on the back..and some small scratches on the front.. Do you think a refinish would hurt this John, or should I leave it alone? |
