I just got this bass from my uncle for $300, but after talking to an aquaintence who's big into Ibanez basses and guitars, he told me that this is a high-end bass that probably cost about $1000 new! On the back of the headstock, the serial number is F0042124, and it was made in Japan. http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/7671/bass1wn5.jpg http://img127.imageshack.us/img127/1227/bass2cv8.jpg |

As far as I can tell from the catalog, you have a 2000 model SR. It is something like the 800, except it has DX pickups. I only know what I see in the catalog. There may have been other markets with differing model specs. At any rate, if it is the 800, it retailed for about 800 bucks without a case. Also, the finish isn't mentioned for the 800, so it may be something off the wall, but I think not. Probably an SR800NT |
