12 year ago I bought an Ibanez Musician with serial number B870239 Does anyone know what type it is, and what the price is?

Henk: The serial number would indicate it was made in Feb. 1987. I have a 1985 catalog that shows something similar, it's the RB850. But I don't think it's a match. Hopefully, someone else will have some better information. |

John. I think this is a curly ( not a S.D.Curlee) one, it's the same shape as a RB DX 885 (5 STRING MODEL)from 1988, same preamp as this but it doesn't show up anywhere in my archives,I guess I'll take a 50/50 ,ask the audiance or phone a friend on this S.O.B. Cameron |

Guy's I searched a few hours on the internet, and found an interesting page. Look at the MC2924, it looks a lot like mine. http://216.250.245.172/musbass.html Henk. |

Henk: Looks like you've found the answer to your question. Thanks for letting us know about it. That site is Jim Donahue's Ibanez Vintage page. He's got lots of great info. There are other great sites that have proven invaluable to the Ibanez community, too. Your experience shows that we need all these sites to cover the huge number of Ibanez products. |
