I'm trying to identify an ibanez bass i have. It looks like an sr800 (with bartolini P&J pickups).
Everything looks to be stock. The finish is red metalic (on body,back of neak & headstock). The serial# is f735683. Any help would be extremely helpful. Thanks Geo

Can you post a picture of it? Your description is too vague for me. The serial number could mean that it's an '87 or '97. Does it have the new SDGR headstock or a symetrical shaped one with the block Ibanez logo? Does it have 4 knobs or three?

My '98 catalog shows the SR800 and SR800A as the only ones with matching headstock finish. I have no idea about the finish color on the back of the neck.
