Howdee folks, i'm new around here. I'm about to buy a Ibanez SR905NTF but before I do i'm checking to see what kind of experience anyone who already owns a SR905 (or has owned one) has had with it. First of all i've checked out this model very thoroughly, and I like what I see and hear from the bass itself. But I have read some complaints on other websites about it being a battery eater. Is this fact or fiction or perhaps a truth that was corrected by the factory in later production runs of this model? I'm also hearing that its been discontinued. It's still listed on the Ibanez website as a current model. Does anyone know for sure what the status is? Bottom line here is that i'm looking for any feedback that you are willing to share. So let me know what you think. Thanks, TD |

Well I answered my own questions by going out and buying a new SR905CNF. It took me 9 mths to get one, and I never thought that I would ever buy a Ibanez (especially new) but what a great bass! TD
